Tom graduated from Cambridge University in 2020. He spent a year as a general practitioner in a busy small animal hospital in Kent before returning to Cambridge to complete a rotating and anaesthesia-specific internship. Whilst here, he led a clinical trial investigating the use of an anxiety-relieving medication in dogs. The use of pre-visit medications to enhance the patient experience, chronic pain management and anaesthesia of the septic patient remain his key areas of interest. In August 2022, Tom joined Lumbry Park for his residency in anaesthesia and he has loved the multidisciplinary teamwork that ensures patients receive the very best care. Outside of work, Tom likes to go on holiday as much as possible to explore different countries and also enjoys visiting London in his spare time.
