Matt completed his undergraduate degree at Newcastle University in 2017 before going on to study veterinary medicine at the University of Liverpool, graduating in 2022. After qualifying, he spent two years working in a busy first opinion hospital in North Wales, where he also took on emergency out of hours work. He later completed a rotating internship at the University of Liverpool’s Small Animal Teaching Hospital, where he discovered a particular passion for anaesthesia and pain management. In March 2025, Matt began a residency in veterinary anaesthesia at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists.
Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his two Labrador Retrievers.
