Lauren joined Lumbry Park in 2020 following almost 12 years working as a zookeeper in three UK collections caring for a variety of both domestic and exotic species. Lauren is extremely passionate about animal husbandry and welfare and spent over five years as a dedicated Lumbry Wards Patient Care Assistant. She ensured that every in-patient received the care and attention they needed to feel as comfortable as possible during their stay in the hospital wards.
In 2026, Lauren joined the Imaging Team as an Imaging Technician which has enabled her to expand her impact on the care and recovery of patients in a more technical capacity. Lauren enjoys working as part of the wider team and is always willing to help anyone with any required task.
Owing to her zookeeping background, Lauren has pet skunks at home who keep her very busy and entertained!
