Qualifications:

I qualified in 2015 through apprenticeship, I gained my Graduate Diploma in Anaesthesia, Emergency & Critical Care, and Surgery from the RVC in 2020. Passionate about teaching, team development, and enhancing patient care, I joined Lumbry Park in December 2023 as Anaesthesia Clinical Lead, progressing to Anaesthesia Team Leader. With extensive experience training and supporting teams across various practices, I’m excited to bring my expertise to my current role as Head Nurse.

Overview

Our specialist cardiologist can diagnose most conditions by performing an ultrasound of the heart (echocardiography), ECG and X-rays.

  • Specialist cardiology assessment of acquired and congenital heart disease as well as investigation of syncope and exercise intolerance.
  • Echocardiography – 2D, M-mode, Doppler and tissue Doppler studies are performed.
  • Electrocardiography (ECG) – 7 lead recording, continuous ECG monitoring and 24-hour ambulatory Holter ECG analysis.
  • Advanced Imaging – selective angiography and computed tomographic (CT) angiography.
  • Clinical investigation of cardiac murmurs, arrhythmias, syncope, collapse, weakness and exercise intolerance.
