Don graduated from Szent Istvan University, Budapest in 2014. Initially, Don started in mixed animal practice in the heart of Ireland. Following this, his focus turned to the surgical management of small animals. He completed two internships, followed by a rigorous three-year surgical residency program after which he successfully obtained a diploma from the ECVS. Don joined the team at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists in 2024 and enjoys all aspects of both orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, with particular interest in fracture management and minimally invasive procedures. Don is committed to continuous professional development and is actively involved in clinical research having published in peer-reviewed journals. He also enjoys a strong interest in teaching and regularly delivers continuing professional development sessions (CPD) across England and Ireland.
During his spare time, Don enjoys spending time with his young family, a variety of sports and staying active, hiking with his dog Zach, a Collie crossed with a Bernese Mountain Dog.
