Prior to pursuing a career in veterinary, Annette completed a degree in forensic science and worked for two years as a DNA analyst. During this time she volunteered at a rehoming centre walking the dogs, this was when she realised that working with animals was her dream. Annette went on to pursue this dream by working as a kennel assistant at a referral centre. She then moved on to be student veterinary nurse at a first opinion practice and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2015 from the college of animal welfare.
Annette joined the team at Lumbry park in 2019 starting as a flexi nurse then two years later fixing in wards. Annette has a soft spot for cats and has gone to complete the feline friendly nursing certificate and diploma. In her spare time Annette enjoys spending time with her family and being out in nature.
