Payments and Pet Insurance Claims
We aim to make the payment process as smooth and straightforward as possible for our clients. All fees are due at the time of collection of your pet, and we offer a few different payment options depending on your insurance cover.
Insurance and Payment
If you would like up-to-date details of consultation fees, please contact our Reception Team for up-to-date pricing. We will only be able to provide an estimate of fees as, due to the individuality of each case, it is difficult to predict which tests or treatment will be required. However when you arrive for your initial consultation, the attending clinician will discuss and explain the whole diagnostic and therapeutic plan and provide an estimate of costs, before you decide whether or not to go ahead with any recommended investigations and/or treatment.
Payment Options
We accept cash and major credit/debit cards. Please note we do not accept cheques or American Express.
Payment will be expected at the time of consultation or upon collection of your pet.
A fee is charged for post-operative examinations and repeat consultations, depending on the case.
Insurance Claims
We usually ask pet owners to pay at the time of treatment and then claim the costs back from your insurers. Please bring a claim form or with you to your pet’s appointment or provide a relevant link from your insurance company.
Direct Claims
Direct claims may be arranged with several insurance companies, provided that you request and discuss this with us prior to arriving for your appointment, before your initial consultation with the vet and prior to any investigations or treatment being undertaken. You will need to complete an application for direct claim form which can be requested from our reception team.It is your responsibility to check with your insurance company about your level of cover or any excess payment you may incur.
Uninsured
If your pet is uninsured, we will require a down payment for the treatment and then full payment upon discharge. We will do our best to provide you with an accurate estimate of treatment costs before any further investigations or procedures are performed and the team will keep you up to date about charges on your account. You can also contact the Reception team at any time for an update on your account.
