Vicky graduated from the University of Bristol in 2014 with a degree in Veterinary Science alongside an intercalation degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. Following four years working in first opinion practice around the South West, both mixed and small animal, she decided to pursue a career as a surgical specialist. Having completed a small animal rotating internship at the Royal Veterinary College and a surgery-specific internship at Highcroft Veterinary Referrals, Vicky subsequently undertook a three-year ECVS approved residency programme in small animal surgery at Pride Veterinary Referrals. Shortly after completion of her residency programme in March 2024, Vicky joined the team at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists.
Vicky enjoys all aspects of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, with particular interests in emergency trauma, oncological surgery and wound management. She is passionate about her profession and is always striving to achieve the best care for her patients and clients as well as providing support and advice to colleagues in primary practice.
