Tyler graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2021 and has always had a strong passion for animal eye health and disease. He completed a rotating internship at the University of Cambridge after spending time in general practice and is now ready to continue his ophthalmology training at Lumbry Park.
Tyler has developed his interests in ophthalmology through several externships and visitations with specialist ophthalmologists and has recently started a post graduate certificate in the field. His main areas of interest include brachycephalic ocular health and ophthalmic presentations of systemic diseases. While at Lumbry Park he aims to develop his skills in ophthalmic diagnostic techniques and ocular surgery. His post-internship goals are to obtain a residency position and become a board certified diplomate of Veterinary Ophthalmology. Since starting at Lumbry Park Tyler has been working with the team to produce articles on common ocular diseases.
Outside of work he enjoys big fantasy books and long beach walks with his cocker spaniel, Honey.
