Pedro is an accomplished veterinary nursing professional with a proven track record in advanced patient care, anaesthesia management, and surgical assistance. With a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Nursing and a Nursing Anaesthesia NCert from Improve International®, he possesses a strong foundation in veterinary nursing medicine.

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated expertise in inpatient care, surgical nursing, anaesthesia, and emergency and critical care. His dedication to animal welfare is evident in his commitment to ensuring the well-being of all patients.

Pedro has held key roles in reputable veterinary institutions, including Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists, Hospital Veterinário de Santa Marinha (Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal) and Ospedale Universitario Veterinario Didattico (OVUD) (Teramo, Italy). He has also been an active member of the Portuguese Veterinary Nurse Council, contributing to education and professional development in the field of fellow Portuguese veterinary nurses.

With a passion for anaesthesia, critical care, sustainability and a proactive approach to his work, he is dedicated to elevating patient outcomes and fostering excellence in veterinary practice.
