• MSc in Veterinary Medicine

Merel graduated from Ghent University (Belgium) in July 2023.   After graduation, she worked in Antwerp as an emergency veterinary surgeon doing home visits for a couple of months. Throughout her study and her first months as a veterinary surgeon, she developed an interest in multiple different aspects of veterinary medicine, such as cardiology, internal medicine, and ECC.   As a rotational intern, Merel hopes to discover the discipline that suits her best, with the goal of eventually specialising.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, being surrounded by friends and family, and travelling the world.
