I started my nursing journey as a veterinary care assistant. During this time I learnt the importance of taking a holistic approach to patient care as this has been proven to promote patient mental wellbeing during hospitalisation which has a positive effect on physical health and aids recovery.  I enjoy looking at ways to minimise stress for inpatients and I like to advocate the importance of stress-free handling and restraint.  I am currently undertaking my Veterinary Nursing training and am very much looking forward to qualification.  My main hobbies are music, art and taking my two dogs on adventures.
