Caroline graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in the UK and shortly thereafter chose to pursue a career in small animal emergency and critical care, initially becoming an emergency night vet before pursuing specialist training with an internship in the US. She returned to the UK to complete her residency training and has worked in a variety of referral clinics both private and academic. Caroline grew up locally and is pleased to return to the South East. She enjoys sharing her interest in emergency and critical care with young graduates and is excited to develop the Lumbry Park internship programme. Her clinical interests include management of trauma, sepsis and coagulopathies. She is particularly interested on the impact of sleep deprivation on the outcomes of critical patients. Outside work, Caroline enjoys walking her (reluctant) dog Olive In the beautiful Hampshire countryside and can also often be found in the local CrossFit box.
